I need a new video game...

Since I don't have xbox live, I can't get too much multiplayer replay value out of my games. I can't download content either... so all of the new sweet levels, multiplayer maps, and awards are out of my reach. Also because of my crappy job, I don't have the money to buy a new game every week. I probably could, but I'm saving to buy a car.

Mass Effect, GH3, Knights of the Old Republic, and The Force Unleashed are pretty much the only games I still play... which is pretty sad when a lot of great games have come out recently and I haven't even gotten a chance to play them.

Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, Fallout 3, Left for Dead, and Gears of War 2 are on my to-get list... but it seems that most of them would be best played with online access... which is half the fun of those games. I would get a Wii or PS3 to have free online capabilities, but those would put a huge dent in my bank account... and just after paying for all of my books and whatnot for classes... I'm in even more debt than I was just after Christmas.

Short of winning a bunch of money soon, I don't think I'll be able to get Live or too many new games... but I'm reserving Resident Evil 5. I don't care how much money I have, that game is going to be epic and I want a piece of that sweet zombie killing action.

I read on IGN that some journalists were saying that Resident Evil 5 is racist because you're in Africa... killing black people. Now, that is just ridiculous because in Resident Evil 4, you're in Spain... killing Spanish people. I loved that game... does that make me racist against Spanish people? Hell no... it just means that I love epic video games with lots of action and violence... no matter what race the fictional characters are.
