Your control over your dreams determines your "afterlife".

Recently, a friend told me that dimethyltryptamine, or DMT for short, is a psychedelic drug naturally produced by the human brain... a small amount of which, causes dreams. Also, a MASSIVE amount of the drug is released by the brain when a human dies.

As most people would know, time moves at a different rate in your dreams than it does in "awake" life. You fall asleep at 12:12 and have a long, elaborate dream, then wake up like four or five minutes later.

If a trace amount of DMT causes a long, elaborate dream... then a massive amount would cause an eternity... at least in one's mind. So, by that logic, when you die... you should be entering a dream world that would seem like an eternity.

The afterlife, in most religions, is an eternal life beyond this world. Beyond this waking world are our dreams, our imagination.

Heaven, is what we want it to be... if one realizes he is dreaming, he can control it. Hell, is supposed to be eternal torture. If you die and are trapped in a nightmare... you will be stuck in that nightmare until you come to realize that you can control what you perceive.

It is all a measure of will power and internal peace. If one is in turmoil, he will be immersed in a chaotic dream world... jumping between ideas and realities, never being to be able to find that peace. If one can bring themselves to a peaceful and serene state, they can manipulate their perceptions to fit their desires. They can make themselves happy.

If one is consumed by hatred, or psychologically damaged... they may be permanently drawn into torment in their dreams. So those of you plagued by nightmares better get them settled before you die...

But maybe these are just the crazy ravings of a madman. If you happen to read this and understand my point... please, let me know I'm not crazy.
